Foundation Research Fellowship: Early Complementary Feeding of Eggs in Rural Guatemala
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation is funding a research fellow to participate in a research project titled, “Early Complementary Feeding of Eggs in Rural Guatemala.” This opportunity will fund a licensed member of the Academy to participate full-time in a one-year project on the ground in Guatemala in collaboration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Maya Health Alliance/Wuqu’ Kawoq.
This fellowship will provide a rich research experience. Fellow responsibilities include:
- Serve as study coordinator for the study, which will examine the impact of the daily provision of eggs on child development which will include all aspects of recruitment, enrollment, retention, and fidelity monitoring
- Serve as liaison for community and engagement efforts
- Assist with data management (cleaning and analysis) and dissemination for the project
The fellowship begins on or around January 6, 2020.
